Full sheet metal line: Mitsubishi 3150EX fiber laser, AMADA 2510 NCT, 600T and 1250T presses, plus TIG / MIG / spot / laser welding. We handle automotive high-strength steels most prototype shops refuse.

Design

Design guidelines

Follow these rules for optimal cost and lead time. Our engineers flag any DFM issues during quote review.

Minimum Bend Radius

Internal bend radius ≥ material thickness for aluminum, ≥1.5× thickness for steel. Tighter radii crack the outer fiber — we'll flag this on DFM review.

Hole-to-Edge Distance

Keep holes at least 2× material thickness from any edge or bend. Closer spacing causes deformation during punching or bending.

Flange Length

Minimum flange length is 4× material thickness plus bend radius. Shorter flanges cannot be held by the press brake.

Countersinks & Hardware

PEM nuts, studs, and standoffs installed in-house. Specify PEM type (CLS, SO, BSO) and orientation in your drawing.

Weld Callouts

Use standard weld symbols (AWS A2.4 or ISO 2553). Specify if welds should be ground smooth — default is as-welded.

Flat Pattern

Send us 3D + 2D. We'll unfold and verify. If you need a specific K-factor for your sheet source, provide it on the drawing.

Frequently asked questions

Q01Can you cut and form DP1180 or other automotive high-strength steel?+
Yes. We regularly process DP780, DP980, DP1180, HC550/980DP+Z, and similar automotive high-strength steels. Laser cutting parameters and bend radii are adjusted for the material — we'll specify minimum bend radius based on your chosen grade.
Q02What's the bend tolerance on a typical part?+
±0.1 mm on bend dimensions, ±0.5° on bend angle. For tighter requirements, we use coined bends (fixed-angle tooling) and can hold ±0.05 mm, at a higher per-part cost.
Q03Do you do in-house powder coating?+
Yes. Our paint shop includes wet paint, powder coating, silk screen, and UV printing. Standard RAL colors stocked; custom Pantone matches require a small setup fee and 2-day match time.
Q04Can you install PEM hardware?+
Yes. We stock standard CLS, SO, BSO, SS (stainless) PEM nuts, studs, and standoffs. Call out the PEM part number on your drawing and we'll install during fabrication.
Q05What's your MOQ for sheet metal parts?+
No minimum. One-off prototypes, 50-piece pilot runs, and 5,000-piece production orders all go through the same process. Unit cost drops significantly above 50 pieces.
